Double Prams

Having twins calls for a specially designed baby pram. Double prams, or sometimes reffered to as twin prams, let you walk two babies at the same time with ease and comfort. Even if one baby outgrows the stroller, or one of the twins is staying at the parent's place, the extra seat is still great for carrying groceries or baby gear.

Double prams come in two basic configurations: tandem prams and side-by-side prams:

• Tandem prams: Tandem baby strollers place the babies front-to-back, one in front of the other. You might find some tandem prams have "stadium seating," placing the baby in the rear higher up so both kids can enjoy the view. If your babies are different ages, you'll find some tandem pram models that let one seat recline fully for a newborn while the older child sits up.
• Side-by-side prams: Side-by-side strollers allow babies to sit beside one another.
