Lightweight Prams

Lightweight prams are maneuverable and suitable for errands and walks in the park. Sometimes called "umbrella" baby strollers (named for their hooked handles), they are also very affordable, so having one in addition to a sturdier model won't break your budget.

Though they have the advantage of portability, lightweight baby prams are less sturdy than full-size prams. Make sure you read the manual that comes with your lightweight pram so that you can use it as safely as possible. For example, you'll want to avoid hanging purses, backpacks, or grocery bags on lightweight prams.
